My students need a vinyl ball chair for mobile learning, soft seats for centers, and write & wipe pockets for enhanced learning in our classroom.
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Payton's classroom raised $316

My Students
Fidgeting in 2nd grade is a given. We all want to move! What better way to release our fidgets than through a seat that promotes moving! We can look forward each morning to spending our day in new comfy seats for learning and centers.
I work in a middle income area in Oklahoma.
I have 27 second graders. Our students are inquisitive, intelligent learners. We want them to absorb as much new knowledge as they can. Any tools we can utilize to help encourage that love for learning is something we want to get our hands on! These tools would be incredibly beneficial for our variety of learners!
My Project
The ball chair would be perfect to move around the room as needed. Whether it's a student taking an AR test at the computer, a child needing 5 minutes on it at his/her seat, or a possible choice at our class library, our kiddos can relieve their many fidgets in a healthy way! The soft seats would be easy to move for various centers and serve as comfy spots for students to complete their work and read. I would utilize the writing sleeves during my guided reading and math groups, giving the kids added variety to our methods and materials to use.
Kids will love getting their jiggles out in a fun, positive way.
They will walk into the classroom and be so excited to see cool, new things just for them and their needs! Creating an environment that is comfortable and beneficial is key to learning.
