My Students
"I grew two levels!" a student exclaimed. Students cannot wait to share their growth with their peers and teachers at our school. Our students attend a zoned school in east Nashville where 100% of students receive free lunch. All students walk or are driven to school, and parents and families are eager to be a part of our community!
My students are full of love!
I cannot wait to see each of their faces in the morning. Every day, we start with literacy centers, go to specials (yoga, gym, music, or math intervention), whole group reading, writing, math, science, and social studies. Every day, they grow socially and academically to be their best selves.
My Project
In this project I am requesting fidget bands for our seats to help with wiggly feet and feet bumping other feet at tables. I am also requesting pencils, because we always need pencils. We are requesting markers and whiteboards for word study and math. The lanyards are to designate the table captain at every table. We work at tables as a community.
If this project is funded, these supplies will allow us to work hard.
We can wiggle when we need to while staying focused on our work. If we have pencils, markers, and whiteboards we can use these tools to help us in literacy and math. This helps students grow every day without worrying about who has the best whiteboards or where they can find a pencil.
