Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Several of my students are affected by Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, which makes them squirrly. My students need a variety of fidgets so they can focus in their classrooms. These bands attach to the legs of the students' desks and allow them to fidget with their feet. Bouncy Bands allow for movement, but not in a distracting way to other students. My students will also benefit from fidgets to help them focus at school. The fidget toys will allow their hands to busy in a constructive way! The desk bands will help those students whose legs need to be moving to stay at their seat instead of wandering the classroom. Bouncy Bands and other fidgets will provide my students the opportunity to improve both focus and concentration in the classroom.
