My Students
Do you remember how you felt waiting for the first game of the season and all the preparation that took place to get ready for it? My female athletes share that excitement of waiting for and then finally getting to compete on their respective court and/or field. These girls have the desire to become not just better athletes but better people across the board!
Many of our students are using athletics, in addition to their academic achievements, to get offered a scholarship so that they may build a better future for themselves.
With that being said, many of our student-athletes have jobs in order to help support themselves and alleviate the pressure put on their parents. They know what hard work is and they are not afraid of it. They thrive in situations; others would have a very hard time facing. We really do have great kids that want to better themselves in every way and I am so proud of them!
My Project
Hosting softball games requires a great deal of preparation. The field must not only be safe but look good too. With that, things like spray paint, chalk, and quick dry are essential parts in putting on these game day events. Donating these items would mean the world to our players so that we won't have the last-second scramble for a can of paint. Although it is a small piece to success, a properly lined field helps the officials to make the right calls in games which can further the success of a program. Thank you for considering our project and it would be greatly appreciated and used throughout the season.
