Feelings Island

Help me give my students a “feelings island” themed calming space that allows them comfort and peace.

My Project

I love working with all students both special education and general education. I take pride in teaching them new ways to self regulate and cope with the many emotions experienced in school.

Having this calm space will allow them a place to reset before returning to their classroom and prevent them from getting in trouble for negative behaviors related to emotions that are out of their control.

I look forward to putting this space together with the carpet, floor seats, and canopy for my amazing kiddos!
