My Project
I believe that the emotional experience children have in the classroom is critical to their engagement in the learning process. If students are engaged and are having fun while learning, they will feel a part of the learning community, and they will learn naturally.
Your donation will help me create adapted books that celebrate diversity and texts that are engaging and motivating for our tactile learners to feel included, connected, and motivated.
I love to use adapted books when teaching my students. It’s time consuming to create them but they worth it. I use laminating pouches to make the books sturdy and last long. The Dotted Velcro makes the books interactive and engaging. The $200 TPT gift card will be used to purchased texts that encourages diversity and inclusion. Through these engaging texts, our student will learn to appreciate differences and recognize similarities among them. They will see themselves in the books and learn to love and be proud of who they are!
