My Project
The Educator Tool Kit is a targeted curriculum for specific behavior and feelings to promote academic, social, and emotional success. This will allow me to teach my students important social-emotional skills. I will use these materials in classroom lessons, small group lessons, and during individual counseling with students. The Kimochis Educator Took Kit is full of great activities for helping children ages 5-12 process big feelings and learn to see the world through the eyes of their peers.
These items will help students learn how to be compassionate and create an empathetic, caring environment where all students feel connected and valued, thus increasing understanding and alleviating suffering in others.
Children and parents quickly connect with the characters and feelings to improve student behavior and learning. This will help students become more compassionate towards others in and out of school. Students success will be measured using pre and post-tests, class surveys, teacher reports, and parent reports.
