Feeling Comfy and Safe in our Dual Language Classroom!
Help me give my students books, flexible seating, light covers, lamp, storage cubes, Magna Tiles and other resources to create a warm and inviting classroom for all!
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Kindergarten is the foundation and the beginning of a journey to the rest of a student's educational career; therefore, it should be an environment in which students are comfortable and excited to be in.
These resources will greatly help our classroom environment be more welcoming, inviting, and inclusive for all!
I am asking for some Spanish language books for story time and independent reading. Flexible seating, light covers, and a lamp to create a special reading area for students. Some storage cubes to organize our classroom library. Magna Tiles to use as a reward activity for students who complete their work.
My goal is to provide students with the resources that they need to be successful and feel safe in their home away from home. We are a kindergarten class in a Title I school in Houston, Texas, and would love any donation to our classroom!
