Feel the Light

Help me give my students the light sensory input their bodies demand. A light therapy lamp, and floor lamp will go a long way in helping them cope with the daily demands in a school setting.

My Project

Many students struggle with depression during the long and dark winter months. Many of my students require a regular and constant sensory diet. With light therapy lamps and light sensory items available to them on a daily basis, their bodies and brains will be able to better cope with the regular and demanding expectations that are found in a school environment.

Tactile sensory objects are common in many special education classrooms, but light therapy is often overlooked.

I would like the opportunity to provide light sensory items for my students on a regular basis. The variety of items I have ordered will help each one of my students with their individual and unique sensory diet.
