it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My classroom is in need of a new sand table that will create fun and engaging sensory experiences for my preschool students. The table I'm requesting is designed to enrich children's playtime with two basins dedicated to sensory exploration with sand to stimulate touch and sight and help ease strong emotions
Research shows that sensory play is vital for preschool children as it supports their overall development in multiple ways.
Engaging in sensory play promotes emotional regulation by providing calming experiences. It also fosters social interaction, creativity, and physical development, making it an essential component of early childhood learning and growth.
