This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a first-year kindergarten teacher, I’m so excited to build a classroom full of joy, imagination, and growth—but I need your help to get started.

Just like the little caterpillar in The Very Hungry Caterpillar, my students are coming to school curious and eager to learn.

I want to make sure their first school experience is warm, engaging, and filled with wonder. Since I’m starting from scratch, I’m working to gather essential materials to help our classroom bloom.

Your support will help provide learning tools like picture books, math manipulatives, art supplies, and classroom basics that will feed their hungry minds and spark a love of learning. These resources will help me create a welcoming space where my students can explore, create, and grow every single day.
