This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This year I have discovered that my 69 Title I students need that extra fuel to make it through the day, and I help them by having snacks available. I'm hoping the stress or fear of COVID will be diminished while enjoying snacks and visiting with their peers.

Snacks equal engagement!

While discovering new and engaging ways to deliver lessons, students will try "a little harder" if they know a treat is waiting for the participants. This makes students want to come to school and participate, all while learning.
