My Project

My name is Harpreet Kaur, a special education teacher serving diverse students from grades 1st through 5th who join the resource room teachers to work on their goals for reading, writing, math, social-emotional-behavioral, and adaptive needs. Exhibiting special needs, diverse talents, and a willingness to contribute to society makes them unique.

The diverse learner belongs to families facing financial challenges with difficulty meeting their essential needs.

Often, challenges for lack of engagement are food and insecurity about not having enough to eat after school. My goal is to fulfill the basic needs of their day. Provide snacks and cognitive activities for their groups to prepare them for classroom challenges.

This project helps recognize their needs and celebrates the individuality of each child. Your generous contributions toward this great cause involve shared responsibility for enhancing students' physical well-being and mental growth.
