My Project

Research supports what educators and school officials see daily in our nation’s schools: a well-nourished child who eats breakfast or eats a morning snack is more likely to be at school, a better learner, and willing to participate in the classroom.

There are many students at our school whose parents cannot afford breakfast or lunch, let alone a snack.

The budgets for low-income families and busy morning schedules can mean that many students arrive at school hungry and not ready to learn. Fortunately, our school plays a critical role in filling this void for millions of low-income children every school day. With your help, we can make sure that our children are fed and, therefore, will learn.
