it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Do you remember the feeling of trying new technology? How exciting it felt? Well, I get to see this on a very regular basis with my first grade students, especially modern technology!
I teach an amazing group of first grade students.
They are such an incredible group of children despite the fact that they live in a high poverty stricken community. Most of the families struggle ensuring they have the basic needs. Therefore, most of them had not experienced an kind of technology items prior to enrolling in school, so, I'd like to expose them to the latest technology opportunities.
My Project
Through the use of the iPad, I will be able to introduce new topics to my students. The cover will protect and expand the life of the iPad. I am in process of finding new and exciting ways of expanding Science experiences to my students to encourage healthy eating habits. There are so many apps that will support this idea. And, with the help of the FEED USA, I will be able to incorporate cooking experience in the classroom. They will learn how to measure, changes from liquid to solid, temperature changes, etc.
By donating to my project you will put hands-on technology for a group of fantastic first graders that have very limited experiences with the future modern technical world.
You will better prepare them for their future educational years that are fast changing with new technology resources. Help me to enforce the importance of healthy eating habits.
