My students need 2 Root-Vue farms and accessory kits, 2 "Watch It Grow: Seeds!" kits, a variety of vegetable and flower seeds, and "Seeds Get Around" big book and guide to appreciate how food is grown.
Imagine coming to school and having the opportunity to grow food and flowers in your classroom!
I am privileged to teach 25 eager first grade learners in a rural school in Indiana.
They enjoy hands-on learning and work hard! We would love the chance to grow plants and flowers in our classroom. We have a very supportive PTA, but we do not have any money in the budget for a gardening project.
My Project
I am requesting seeds, Root Vues, and a big book to help increase the students understanding and appreciation of growing flowers, plants, and vegetables. After all, radishes do not just appear on the shelves of our local supermarkets. I want students to have the chance to grow plants and flowers on their own!
