My Project
At Angling Road, we believe that every child deserves the chance to learn, grow, and thrive — and that starts with having the energy and focus to get through the school day. Far too often, students arrive at school without a snack, which makes it difficult for them to concentrate, stay engaged, and feel their best. As educators, we see firsthand how hunger impacts learning, and we want to ensure that no child in our classrooms has to face that barrier.
I'm launching a classroom snack support project to help stock snacks not only for my own students, but for the entire second grade team.
My goal is to build a lasting supply so that teachers aren't constantly restocking or asking families to contribute. With community support, we hope to create a simple but meaningful solution — one that gives every child the nourishment they need to succeed, and one less thing for teachers to worry about.
