My Students
My students are creative and eager to learn. Our classroom is full of scholars who love to move around and be involved with the work they are focusing on. There is a wide range of students in the classroom. There are students who are below grade level and at grade level. This allows everyone to work together and challenge one another.
My scholars come from a low background and receive free breakfast and lunch daily.
They work hard every day they enter the school building which makes them so unique. The scholars are willing to put up a fight and try their best to accomplish anything that comes their way in third grade.
My Project
My students will benefit from these snacks for many different reasons. They receive free breakfast starting at 7:30 and do not eat again until 1:00 pm. They start to shut down during our ELA time due to hunger. Since these scholars are in third grade they need to be fully energized during our reading time in order to learn and do well on the third grade reading guarantee.
Some of these scholars do not have a steady home life and need to take snacks home with them.
Allowing my scholars to feed their stomachs will also give their brain the energy and nutrients it needs to fully function. I want them to have a successful year! Please help out these magnificent scholars!
