My Project
We work with high school students to help them work through stress, anxiety and mental health issues affecting teens. Our center is open daily and available to all students, we are constantly needing to replenish our snacks. We know that students that are hungry are not able to fully focus on discussions or regulate their feelings. We also need chairs to create a new journaling centers for our students that want to take some "quite time" to journal and regulate. The frames allow us to update events and add motivational thoughts throughout the area.
Our goal is to create a safe place for our students where they feel cared for, they can learn coping skills and be successful in school.
We have 40% of our students on the federal lunch program and we are here to support them in any way we can. Your support is truly appreciated by our educators, students and parents.
