My Students
My students are well diverse ranging from countries such as India, Haiti, Mexico and more. They show empathy, courage and resilience.
They are determined to reach their full potential despite their circumstances and the adversity they may face.
Our neighborhood is indeed a melting pot filled with hard-working parents. They sacrifice a lot of time to try to be engaged in their children's school career. As the school social worker, it is my mission to connect them to the best resources we have available.
My Project
This project will help students get the nutrients they need to be successful in the classroom. Often times students lose focus and need to refuel. Funding this project will allow students to decompress. It will also help me reward students that have modeled good behavior.
Breaking bread is a concept that we all practice in our lives.
When we break bread with children, amazing things happen. They open up to us. They feel safe, accepted, and loved. Students are allowed to be themselves in the social work office. With your help, we can do amazing things.
