This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

"As a child I drew like Raphael, but it has taken me a lifetime to draw like a child."-Pablo Picasso As an adult we must release our inner child to help us make that connection with our students.

I teach art in a low-income school.

I see students from Kindergarten all the way through 6th grade. Even though they are different ages, the thing they have in common is that they love art. My students' artwork will be used to make the corridors and hallways colorful and bright. Art helps them be creative and think outside the box.

My Project

I am so excited! My students will love to have new paint brushes, all different sizes! Students will be able to choose the brush they will like to use when they paint. Giving the "artist" more options to choose from will help stretch their possibilities.

Paint brushes...they are the key to start a car, the remote to turn the TV on, the basketball to Jordan, etc... They are an essential tool needed for art.

My student will be appreciative to have new brushes to use to create works of art. When you donate, to any proposal, you let a child or children know that you care and that their education matters.
