My Project
I wanted to take a moment to share with you my approach in the classroom and the goals I have set for my students. As an educator, my utmost priority is to ensure that my students' basic needs are met, so they have a fair opportunity to learn and grow. I firmly believe that when my students' most fundamental needs are taken care of, they are better equipped to focus on their education.
One particular project I'm currently working on aims to address the issue of hunger among my students.
It breaks my heart to know that some of them come to school without having had breakfast or with empty lunch boxes. Therefore, my goal for this project is to provide nutritious meals to these children when they are hungry. It not only satisfies their physical needs but also helps create a supportive and nurturing environment in which they feel cared for and valued.
Moreover, I strive to create an open-door policy in my classroom, making it a safe space for my students to seek help and support whenever they need it. I want them to know that they can always come to me, whether it's with academic struggles, personal challenges, or simply a listening ear. By fostering this trust and connection, I hope to empower my students and help them develop the confidence to navigate life's obstacles.
What sets my students apart is their incredible resilience and determination. Despite facing significant challenges and odds against them, they show up to school each day with a thirst for knowledge and a eagerness to learn. It is truly inspiring to witness their growth and progress, and it reinforces my commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment for each and every one of them.
