Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students utilize school as not only a hub of knowledge but for a good portion of their necessities. For this reason, we make an effort to keep stocked snacks for when they need a pick-me-up throughout the day! As we know, school lunch isn’t ideal, and so for many, snacks are really a huge part of their nutrition. We do our best to introduce healthy options and things that can be given on the go!
We utilize every snack donation to its fullest as this is a big part of how we support our scholars! Thank you for helping us on this journey.
