This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our students need your help to continue their excitement about reading and help improve their reading skills. Elephant & Piggie and Captain Underpants will achieve this. We will be putting these books in our book vending machine. Our vending machine is used as a reward for students. They recieve a gold coin for awesome behavior and are able to redeem for a book of their choice.
My first graders are so excited when they recieve a gold coin.
I want them to be able to have a wide variety of books to choose from. This a great way to encourage positve behavior and reading.
These books will encourage family involvement and continued learning at home. My students will love to take home these books, create their own library, and share them with their families.
