This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Exciting worlds open up in our youngsters minds through good literature.
My students are eager readers who enjoy a good story.
Our library is limited and we are in need of class set books to read as a class and have literacy discussions and reading circles. Many of my students are not taken to the library and my classroom is the place where they have direct access to wonderful reads.
My Project
My students need to have access to books that will give them a key to open a world of wonders through reading. I intend to use these books to spark their imagination and instill the love for books. The more my students are exposed to great books, the better their chances will be to become independent, proficient readers.
With your generous donations, my students will have access to the wonderful world of R.
Dahl through his book "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory." Reading will allow them to spark their imagination and increase their vocabulary. Thank you for your donations.
