This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Help feed hungry tummy’s! It’s an every day question “Ms. You have a snack?” Students everyday come to class without having eaten anything, including the school lunch because they either can’t afford it or just plain don’t like it. As a means to an end, Costco and I have become best friends with weekly visits trying to keep up with my students hunger but it only goes so far.
Help me feed my students intelligence by putting hunger to an end.
A small snack truly goes a long way. I want to create a loving and safe environment for my students and one way I can do that is through their tummy’s.
