My students need (will love) to enjoy their movies and pictures on a big screen. The Epson projector will provide the screen, the Sony Camcorder will capture the image.

My Students
Words escape many of my students. A picture is indeed worth a thousand words. When students make their own movies they can tell their own story. As we share our stories and pictures, we can recall our history and learning can continue. We would love to celebrate our stories on a big screen!
Our classroom loves to be outside.
Our community loves to see us outside! We have brought beauty to our school with the help of Donors Choose. We have started a beautiful organic garden and the entire school is better for it! Our students are very gifted in many ways, but using words for communication is a challenge for many of them. We do love to take pictures of what we have done, and we take great pride in sharing them with others! Making movies and seeing them on a big screen would be awesome!
My Project
We are asking for a Sony-DCR-SX85/B Camcorder and an Epson-SVGA 3LCD Multimedia Projector to share movies with our class, families and friends. We take hundreds of pictures everyday with our digital cameras. Our students have learned to take care of the digital cameras and enjoy sharing the pictures they take. Through their collected pictorial history, we have created new ways to share our class accomplishments. A picture is indeed worth a thousand words. Seeing our stories come alive on a big screen would be an exciting experience.
We have two years worth of pictures and look forward to many years of collecting the magic of our classroom. We need a dependable place to store the pictures. As students document their accomplishments, the pictures will be a lasting testimony of their learning. For students who do not have many words, pictures are a great way to share their hopes, dreams, plans and aspirations.
Our classroom is full of students who have very special gifts.
These gifts are mostly present in their smiles. Their faces tell the story and their story brightens every heart that comes close. When we are outside working on our gardens the world is a better place for all of us! Our class learns best when we are doing things. When we see things change because we did something. This project inspires each of us and our community to look for beauty in life and "be the change" we wish to see.
