My Project
My eight students are curious, fun, sweet, and persevering learners. They all are diagnosed with moderate to severe learning disabilities performing significantly below their age level. They have very high needs and need a lot of support in the classroom to complete various tasks throughout the day. Despite having many challenges, my students work hard at succeeding and they never give up. Each student has unique qualities and skills and we are all working towards becoming independent and kind individuals in our community.
These items in the shopping carts will help them attend and focus during story time.
I have chosen their favorite books and they love to listen to these books during story time. The magnetic mix and match animals will help students practice their fine motor and puzzle skills. My students absolutely love playing with animals. The magnetic community vehicles are one of my students favorite toys. Some of them have been lost and I am trying to order more to replace the missing vehicles. I use painters tape in my classroom to help set clear spaces for students to work in. I also use painters tape for students art projects.
