My Project
In 3rd grade we spend a ton of time learning about animal life cycles. For example, we go to Taylor Creek to see the salmon spawn, we raise Rainbow Trout and release them in the river, and we raise Painted Lady Butterflies.
Students need to witness the plant life cycle from seed back to seed.
With the Wisconsin Fast plants, we can see the full life cycle in 40 days. Hands on lessons will allow students to make observations, measure growth, and learn about the role of pollination in plant reproduction.
More than a third of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
