This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As an English teacher, I aim to give my students a variety of reading material that will awaken their interests. My classroom library is full of books from a wide variety of genres and styles. Students are welcome to peruse and borrow any book that catches their eye.
Getting students to have an interest in reading requires having books available that they would feel a connection to.
With your support, I look to expand my library and give students access to titles that will take them to worlds and topics they feel comfortable and anxious to read about.
