I need a diaspora of cookbooks to broaden my culinary perspective, enhancing my ability to teach diverse techniques and global cuisines.

My Project

With this donation of diaspora cookbooks, I will grow professionally by deepening my understanding of global culinary traditions, allowing me to bring richer, more inclusive content into the classroom. These cookbooks will serve as both inspiration and curriculum tools, helping students explore the cultural roots of cuisine, develop respect for diverse foodways, and expand their culinary skills beyond the familiar.

By integrating these resources into lessons, I can foster empathy, creativity, and curiosity—empowering students to see cooking not just as a skill, but as a bridge between cultures and a form of storytelling.

This donation isn’t just about books; it’s about planting seeds of global awareness and culinary confidence in the next generation of chefs.
