My Project

My students consider a bag of chips, cookie, and a soda a balanced lunch! I teach in a windowless classroom in Staten Island and want to expand my students' lunch options!

I recently started with one hydroponics growth tower from Gardyn.

My students check on the plants every single day when they enter the room! However, I realized there are several other supplies that are needed to allow the plants to grow to their fullest potential! These additional supplies will help our plants grow stronger and produce more edible food for my students to enjoy.
