I have a very enthusiastic, cheerful, and hard working group of 7-year-olds who love to learn! Most of my class looped up with me from 1st grade but this year is a whole new year. They are learning how to navigate this digital, socially distant, and ever-changing year we are learning in.
All of my students are leaders in the classroom, and they work hard each and every day using the seven habits, not only the classroom, but the school as well.
I am a firm believer that my students will move mountains if we only give them the resources to do so.
My Project
The end of the school year is quickly approaching. After this very hard and challenging year, I have witnessed my wonderful students be flexible, adapt, show kindness, take care of each other and enjoy learning regardless of the endless challenges.
I looped with this group so we have been together for these past two crazy years and they are extra special to me.
I want to prepare a fun gift bag for the end of the school year so they can have lots of fun over the summer. I will be using the donations to buy them sunglasses, jump rope, and bubble wands to play outside over the break. I am also going to make each one a personalized pillowcase that says to dream big and remember Mrs. Jackson believes in you. Let's give my kids a fun end-of-the-year gift.
