Fantasy Reading Unit

My students need fantasy series books for our next reading unit.

My Students

My students are a group of enthusiastic learners. My students come in every day with a smile on their face ready to learn. They look forward to coming in and learning new material in every subject.

We call ourselves a team.

They work hard to accomplish their goals independently and together. I make my room inviting and inclusive to ll my students. I try to make our learning interactive and provide my students everything they need to be the best they can be.

My Project

To encourage students to continue reading throughout the summer, our final reading unit is fantasy. Students will work in book clubs and read fantasy series.

Students should be reading one to two books a week.

In order to provide my students with this opportunity, I need to order more fantasy books. I have the first in each series, but need to have more in the series for my students to continue reading. Students will be able to continue their reading strategies and grow as readers by having all of the fantasy books in their series.

Fantasy has always been a popular unit among the students and I want to give my students the opportunity to fall in love with a fantasy series and continue that passion into the summer.
