This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My kiddos love to read! They enjoy making their selection relaxing and reading. Reading is their time to jump into a story and let their imaginations run wild with wonder, laughter, and excitement.
The goal now is to make the library a more inviting environment for my kiddos to be as comfortable as possible as they read.
The colorful and relaxing beanbags and chairs will pull the students into the library. The furniture will create anticipation and excitement for sustained silent reading time.
My students deserve a comfortable, relaxing environment. They work very hard each day and look forward to silent reading. Providing a comfortable environment will push them to read for longer periods and increase their reading fluency.
