This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I will be returning to teach first graders!! They would be encouraged to master independent reading. As young learners, my students will be able to feel at ease as they are encouraged to read independently.

These fantastic young learners would benefit from flexible seating.

They get antsy after sitting for too long in these hard school chairs.

With these new cushioned seating, they would be more willing to sit for extended periods as they increase their reading stamina.

Hence, becoming better readers and learning for the upcoming year. The folders will be used as a class set to keep their reading logs.
