Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Can you help fund my classroom of kind and creative first graders? Working in a Title I school, my students are usually in need of supplies that are not provided by our school, but rather funded by me. The pay that I get goes right back into my classroom. However, in some cases, I need assistance to fund more expensive, yet essential needs in my classroom.
The more expensive items like the headphones will be used for computer and reading activities.
The shoe rack will be used to organize the headphones. The portable whiteboard will be used to help me teach reading and writing during carpet activities. The markers, clay, and Play-Doh are for art and fine motor skills. The Lakeshore games are for small group reading activities. Finally, the teachers pay teachers gift card will be used to purchase items throughout the school year that I use as supplemental activities in my classroom.
