My Project

I am a first year Teacher. My 5th graders are awesome and also the oldest group of children in the building. Because of that, they have a very late lunch and a very short recess. With the winter months approaching, I want to give them their own zone within the classroom by creating a classroom library with seating and shelving that separate their indoor recess from the class setting. I also want to give them a daily mid-day snack that will subdue their hunger and help them stay focused so they might complete a productive school day!
