This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are seeking some fun fidgets and games to liven up our Fun Fridays! Dating back to when the pandemic started, I implemented what I call 'Fun Friday' as a way to end our week on a high note and engage my students with fun and interactive fidgets, games, and activities. After a long week of hard work and grind, my students have a chance to earn some entertainment time to unwind, connect, and play with each other, which helps relieve stress, increase motivation, and foster growing relationships and connections as a classroom family.
The STEM challenge kits, Fort Builder, Gear Builder, and Construcction Plank Kits, listed in this project are all STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math) -based items that are open-ended, engaging, and entertaining while also being educational.
We will use these at the end of the day each Friday to give my students a creative but productive outlet. The items I selected will be popular among my students and allow them to explore their different interests while connecting and collaborating with their peers. With your help, we can bring 'Fun Friday' to life week after week and year after year!
