Help me give my students two tower fans, heavy duty homework folders, hanging file folders, Command Hooks, voice amplifier, Echo Spot, and math tools (counters, counting bears, magnets).

My Project

Imagine changing classrooms and grade levels a few days before your students arrive. That's my reality this school year. My new second graders are amazing, but we have new challenges in our room. The afternoon heat feels unbearable. When the air is stagnant and the grass is cut, little bugs appear and pester the students. Learning while sweating and shewing away bugs is challenging. Our classroom's air flow is blocked by a hill on one side, a building on the other side, and two connected classrooms on the other two sides. With no ceiling fans, there's very little air circulation. Two oscillating tower fans will help to alleviate some of the heat and increase air flow.

The oscillating fans, Echo Spot, homework folders, command hooks, hanging file folders, and math tools will help to to create a positive learning environment and provide supplies to support student learning.

The Echo Spot will be used to provide brain stimulating melodies during work time, timers to increase time management, a digital clock to reference the time, and a thermometer to help us track the heat. The command hooks will allow us to showcase student work in our classroom. The hanging folders will be used to organize A-Z reading booklets to support my student's reading. The math tools like the counting bears and magnets will be used for counting, word problems, equations, and quick images. I was not provided with any funding for my new classroom position, so these items would be a blessing. Thank you for your support!
