This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are caring, young fourth grade inventors that are eager to learn! We are a K-5 science and technology school in an urban neighborhood. Our goal is to foster a love of learning and provide high quality, hands-on educational experiences.
My Project
This year our grade level theme is inventors! We are spending the year reading about, writing about, and becoming inventors. One of the projects we would like to complete is learning how to write biographies about different inventors that inspire us!
By providing our grade level with these books, each student will be able to learn about an inventor that inspires them!
After picking an inventor and reading a biography, students will be ready to write biographies of their own! Help our students access the information they need by providing us with a classroom set of children's biographies!
