Family Engagement is the Key

My Students

Our school population is 50% low income and a third are English Learners (EL) students. I work with a team of teachers that work with our EL population in and out of the classroom. This program will help us reach our families so we can work together to educate our students.

The key to our student's success is family involvement.

The Powermylearning Program will help us to engage our families in their child's education. This digital program connects students, teachers, and families through lessons that the student learns and then teaches it to their family members.

My Project

My job is to help our English Learners (EL) learn academic English and be successful in the classroom. Our students can not be successful unless they learn both in the classroom and at home. PowerMyLearning will help us make that home-school connection. Our students want to do well in school and the parents have the same goal, but they are not sure how to help.

This program can make a difference in my students' education by empowering them to teach someone else what they have learned.

This program will give parents, teachers a way to work together to help our children succeed.
