My Students

Our school is located in a small community. With more than 85% of our students receiving free or reduced-price lunch, it's hard not to spend my own money for classroom items.

My students are sweet, caring kids.

They love to learn and light up my day with their smiles. My students love to learn new things, share their ideas with each other, and even teach each other.

My students make me proud to be a teacher with all of their hard work and dedication.

My Project

Family engagement is important for student success. With the implementation of common core, many families do not know how to help their students at home. The resources in this project will change that.

Students and their families can take family game night to a new level!

These reading and math family engagement kits will allow my students to take home an educational game to play with their families. This additional help will support their learning to a new level.

With this project being funded, I can ensure that my students and their families are actively engaged in learning and having fun while doing so.
