Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are talented, creative, and eager to express themselves. Many of them don’t often have access to the tools and materials needed to explore design, fashion, and technology. By providing them with opportunities to create hands-on projects, I can help them discover hidden talents, build confidence, and develop skills that connect to real-world careers.
This project will bring a Cricut Explore cutting machine into our classroom.
With this tool, my students will be able to design and create their own custom Fall sweaters featuring seasonal graphics like leaves, pumpkins, and motivational sayings.
Students will work collaboratively to design their own images and text on the computer, cut them using the Cricut, and then transfer their designs onto sweaters.
This project blends art, technology, and creativity while giving students a chance to learn design software, practice precision, and see their ideas come to life.
