Falling In Love With Reading

Help me give my students the opportunity to fall in love with reading by giving them new engaging books and resources from TPT.

My Project

I have requested several series of books to refresh and improve my current collection. These books will be in my classroom library where students check in and out books that they desire to explore. These books will aid in my ability and support my goal to increase reading fluency and comprehension.

Additionally, I have requested a TPT gift card so I can purchase engaging and relevant materials that my students can relate to and learn from.

I teach roughly 60 students in a rural community.

Reading, and the resources we use to teach it, are so important because they open up a whole new world of knowledge, imagination, and understanding. Reading is vital because it helps us develop critical thinking skills and expand our vocabulary. Plus, reading can be a great way to relax for some students.

The resources that I have requested would make a huge difference in my students' learning because they will allow the students to engage in, respond to, and connect with materials that are relevant to their everyday life.
