My students are a diverse group of learners, who LOVE to learn. My students get excited about learning through exploring, using hands on materials. I am able to engage my students through differentiation and provide different tasks for them to master skills being taught.
In my class, we work on building relationships and a classroom culture of acceptance and kindness, which allows for students to take risks, make growth, and feel proud of themselves.
We have lots of fun together, with lots of laughing AND lots of learning! I am very passionate about meeting the needs of my students, no matter the location!
My Project
As my students make progress with their phonics skills, they are in need of high interest decodable resources. My hope is that my students can pick a book from my class library that is at their decoding level and have them feel success as they read. It is important that my students have materials that are controlled and follow the phonics patterns being taught to build their confidence, their fluency, and a love of reading. I truly believe that with books that children can decode on their own, the more they will want to read and the more growth they can make! These books will help my students experience success in their daily learning.
With the TPT gift card, I will be able to purchase printable and digital resources to accompany the taught phonics skills.
These resources will be able to provide extra practice and materials practice and at home with their families!
All these resources will help my students feel successful and build their confidence!
