Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Every month I try and change my classroom library to celebrate or support the different events that are being celebrated that month. This school year I was lucky enough to loop with my students from last year, so my goal is to stock up my library with brand new books for them to enjoy!
My students are more excited about reading when it has to do with something they can relate to. This year I am looking to add new books to my library and really support the love of reading in my classroom. I am starting with books about the fall, halloween, and veteran's day.
Also, this school year our school library is closed for renovations so my goal is to make my classroom library extra amazing and filled with awesome books that the kids can't put down.
