Fall Into New Books

Help me give my students books about the seasons and Valentine's Day to help them reach their reading goals.

My Project

Do you love the fall weather? Here in Louisiana, we are ready for the cool fall weather after our hot summers. I am requesting different seasons picture books and two Valentine's Day picture books for our students to read and for our librarian to do library lessons with. Our library only gets a small amount of money for books a year. The students also use reading as a mental health break during the school day. These books will be a great excitement for them.

Reading brings a whole new world to a child.

Getting these books will help our students reach their Accelerated Reader goals that are set each year school-wide. Reading more books has really helped our students in their reading fluency, comprehension, and reading skills. I want them to learn to love reading and continue reading for the rest of their lives.
