My Project

I am a reading teacher and the students I teach are behind in their reading skills. I have a small classroom library that I am trying to expand so that my students can practice their reading skills, not just in class but outside of class as well. With the classroom library, I am trying to encourage them to read at home, even if it's for ten minutes a day.

My students love to check out books, despite being behind in reading.

I hope that by adding more books and having more of a variety, my students will take home books more often. The more kids read the better readers they become.
