Fall in Love With a Book

Help me give my students new chapter books to ignite their love for reading and be able to picture themselves in the books they read.

My Project

These books help me to build a diverse class library that represent all of the students in my class. They love reading every morning and these books lead to wonderful conversations about how people have similarities and differences. They learn so much about each other during this morning meeting discussion and reading time.

Using a high interest book will help my students become more engaged and master their grade level standards.

I have many reluctant readers and giving them high interest books will hopefully make learning fun for them. My goal is to present students with books that students can relate to or find enjoyable in order to foster a love for reading. Please help us out!
